Quays Culture is a cultural programme generated through a consortium of partners who are leading the way in the fields of digital media, broadcasting, education, business, sport, arts, culture and heritage. The aim of the programme is to enrich the location of The Quays, making it a visitor destination through a programme of arts and cultural events. Partners include BBC North, The Lowry, IWMN, Salford University, Peel/MediaCityUK, Salford City Council, Trafford Borough Council, Manchester United and Lancashire County Cricket Club.

Quays Programme Coordinator (22.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days), fixed term contract until 31 March 2017 (likely to be extended until March 2018), £14,688 per annum plus staff benefits

We are looking for a Quays Programme Coordinator to effectively project manage the delivery of the Quays Culture programme. You will coordinate multiple event delivery across the cultural programme for outdoor and indoor events, large and small scale. For each event/installation you will ensure all legal requirements, partner approval, event plans and risk assessments are complete, approved and shared with relevant partners and stakeholders. You will be responsible for organising and coordinating regular Quays multi-agency programming meetings, collecting and analysing monitoring data and drafting contracts.

You will have excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills. Experience of co-ordinating operational project management for outdoor events and programmes is essential. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for the Quays and the Arts and Cultural Programme.

The post will be based at The Lowry, working for the Quays Partnership initiative – Quays Culture
