Outreach & Engagement Officer
Interviews: Week commencing Monday 18th December

The Manchester Men’s Room (TMR) is an arts and social care charity which supports young men engaged in or at risk of involvement in sex work or at risk of exploitation. We deliver a range of services to marginalised and chaotic young male sex workers and young men at risk of exploitation. As an art based social care charity we place arts based practice at the core of our work. The centrality of the arts to our engagement allows us to develop trust and establish positive and productive relationships with young men living extremely chaotic, marginalised and often harmful lives.

We have secured Big Lottery Reaching funding to develop our participatory arts and social care support programmes. The Outreach and Engagement Officer is a new post, based in our office in central Manchester. The successful candidate will develop and expand our existing provision ensuring our award winning and innovative approach continues to reach, engage, support and empower vulnerable young men across Manchester.

The Outreach & Engagement Officer will lead on increasing engagement in TMR’s socially engaged participatory arts and social care support programmes. This role will develop and enhance our street outreach and engagement provision to ensure we are reaching and effectively engaging young male street sex workers, homeless young men and other vulnerable young men in Manchester.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
