Officer, Planning (GP8)
The Hive, Manchester
Salary: £27,668
Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week
Arts Council England champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives. We support a range of activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Officer, planning to help lead our corporate planning, risk management and KPI reporting. The role is based in our Manchester Office. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Officer, Planning and Planning and Risk reps across the organisation to ensure that we have effective systems and processes in place to deliver the Arts Council’s strategic objectives, identify and manage risks, and produce annual reports on our effectiveness.
This is a key role at the heart of the organisation, and we are looking for someone to drive forward our organisational planning and performance reporting. You will have a sound understanding and experience of:
- operational or business planning in a large organisation
- devising key performance measures/indicators and overseeing operational reporting
- risk management and control frameworks
You will also be highly organised, good at qualitative and quantitative analysis and a strong communicator.
Disabled people, those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds and people under 30 are under-represented in our workforce so we particularly encourage applications from people in these groups.
