Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover), Bluecoat

Hours: 37.5 hours full time. Monday to Friday (ability to work flexible hours at weekends and in the evenings, including regularly contributing to responsive “out of hours”  social media activity is essential for this vacancy)

Contract: Fixed term appointment for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave 

Holiday allowance: 33 days including bank holidays

We’re looking for a talented and organised individual to join our Marketing and Communications team. This pivotal role is central to Bluecoat’s success, managing a busy marketing department and ensuring our marketing and communications materials are of the highest quality, reflect our brand and are appropriate to our audiences. 

Having recently undergone a rebranding exercise and in the process of launching a new website, Bluecoat has the foundations to increase reach among new and existing audiences alike. We need an experienced marketer who can take these tools and embed them into the organisation and use them to grow Bluecoat’s audience, engagement and reputation. 

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic about marketing and communications who believes in the power of the arts to change people’s lives. You will be experienced, unflappable, resourceful and organised. You will have experience of commissioning and managing print, writing copy for online and offline publications and be comfortable liaising with partners and media. Good attention to detail is essential.
