Cheshire Dance needs a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join a growing team.
£22,000 (0.6 FTE) pro-rata.
Permanent
21 hrs per week – Time off in Lieu system operates
15 days (25 pro-rata) annual holiday + days for Christmas closure
Cheshire Dance is looking for an experienced marketing and events coordinator to cultivate a dynamic relationship between Cheshire Dance and its diverse audiences and stakeholders. Working with the team the post holder will be responsible for increasing first time and repeat engagement, supporting the programme, co-ordinating events and generating income.
Cheshire Dance values diversity in its workforce as it does in its artistic programme. The successful candidate will be able to transfer their skills and knowledge into the role. They may additionally have a background in dance, the arts or not for profit administration.
Cheshire Dance is a registered charity that leads the artistic provision and support of dance across Cheshire. We aim to ensure everyone has access to dance and can benefit from its transformative power. We engage participants and audiences of all ages and abilities, employing experienced and nationally renowned artists and partnering with organisations across the arts, voluntary and public sectors. We support the career development of artists and other professionals and we co-design, produce and promote bespoke projects, events and programmes.
Working across the arts, public and voluntary sectors and through our extensive programme of events, training, workshops and classes, Cheshire Dance is a leader in its field. Cheshire Dance is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. Other key partners include Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East Councils and a range of arts, health and voluntary organisations.
