The School of Creative Technologies is now seeking to recruit a highly qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Lecturer, to support our teaching of the undergraduate Games Art course. You will deliver outstanding teaching and undertake marking, module direction and academic administrative management activities within the School of Creative Technologies including where appropriate undergraduate tutorial and skills classes. Teaching activities are likely to be in one or more of the following subject areas: Modelling, Texturing, Shader creation, Environment Art, Presentation, Concept Art, Employability
Good knowledge of Maya, Unreal Engine and ZBrush are preferable.
The role will provide an opportunity for an enthusiastic academic, or an industry expert
seeking to enter academia, to develop and gain a wide range of experience in teaching,
learning and assessment practice.
You will have a degree/higher degree in a relevant discipline, and preferably some
professional experience as well as be nearing completion of a PhD (or willingness to
commence a PhD).
