The MMETE programme is currently being re-validated in line with all our other HE programmes during which process the focus of this subject will be reviewed in line with current developments in the industry and pedagogy of this subject. This is a rare opportunity to take the lead on the further development and enhancement of this provision and to work closely with our other disciplines.
You will be responsible for providing not only the detailed vision and leadership for our Management provision, but also for curriculum development, enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment, quality assurance and operational management. There will be a MMETE team comprising six members of staff (4.6 FTE – full time and fractional) as well as a wide range of Visiting Professionals.
We are looking for someone with experience of management in the arts and/or public events who is able to facilitate the learning of others at undergraduate and postgraduate level. A commitment to preparing individual learners for sustained work is essential.
You will have strong industry/professional links and a successful track record of collaborative leadership and management of students, staff and provision in Higher Education. You’ll be able to evidence a progressive, student-centred teaching style.
