Galleries Co-ordinator – 37.5 hours per week, £19,871 per annum plus staff benefits

The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations. The Lowry houses the LS Lowry Collection, and regularly mounts a programme of contemporary exhibitions.

As part of the Galleries team, the Galleries Co-ordinator will contribute creatively to The Lowry’s exhibition and display programme and provide administrative support. This includes co-ordinating arrangements for incoming exhibition loans, overseeing loans to other venues, managing technical support for installations and supporting collections management requirements.

Applicants will have an active interest in modern and contemporary art, with experience of fine art handling and co-ordinating exhibition loans. A team player with meticulous administrative and planning skills, you will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Please note that the working hours for this role can include weekends and unsociable hours.
