The Liverpool Irish Festival enjoys a prominent position in Liverpool’s annual calendar of cultural events. Its imaginative arts programme includes music, drama, film and literature, alongside educational, community and local heritage activities.
The Festival is seeking to engage a year-round, part-time, freelance General Manager. The Manager will ensure the effective design, development and delivery of Festival activities, have lead roles in Festival day-to- day administration, maintaining and building partnerships, and acting as the first point of contact for all Festival enquiries.
You will be an accomplished multi-tasker with a passion for the arts, complemented by excellent verbal and written abilities. You will have substantial experience in a lead role in a relevant arts capacity or similar role and a successful track record in arts programming/events management. Experience of managing relationships with partner and stakeholder organisations will be essential and the ability use social media effectively will be desirable.

This is a challenging and enjoyable opportunity to work with a supportive Board and alongside freelance staff with expertise in design, website design, and PR to build on this unique celebration and the successes of previous Festivals.
