Engagement Network Freelancer, Manchester International Festival

Manchester International Festival (MIF) is the world’s first festival of original, new work and special events, staged every two years. From 2021, as well as producing a biennial festival, we will also run The Factory, a new state of the art building and producing organisation in the heart of Manchester.

The Engagement Network (*) is an informal network of Engagement Leads across the city’s cultural organisations that share best practice and collaborate on strategic priorities such as activity mapping and diversification of the sector’s workforce. The network is currently looking to engage a freelancer to provide administrative, fundraising and project management assistance to the network.

This freelance contract will be managed by Manchester International Festival and will support the activity of the wider network.

This role is offered on a freelance contract reporting to MIF’s Creative Engagement Director Jen Cleary /Julia Turpin (job share). The contract is for 6 months initially (with potential of extension subject to successful fundraising).

The fee for the contract is £2700.
