Digital Content Officer, The Met

The Met is an innovative and rapidly growing organisation situated in the 2021 Greater Manchester Town of Culture, Bury. We are unique in the breadth of work we present and our ability to nurture artists and develop audiences. We present a mix of live music, theatre and comedy alongside a variety of hires in our beautiful Grade II 4.6million refurbished building. We run community workshops, a recording studio and a creative business hub. 

We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as our Digital Content Officer. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing & Insights Officer, you’ll be creating content to engage our audiences for The Met. You’ll be passionate about creating content for social media and for online broadcast, with the willingness to learn new skills and the ability to communicate The Met’s brand and events in innovative, customer-focused ways.

In 2020 The Met became the broadcast hub for United We Stream Greater Manchester; a partnership that meant millions of online viewers consumed work created at The Met. As a venue we created our own programme of streaming events and found ways to work online with everyone from our regular workshop attendees to music fans from across the world.
