Digital Communications Assistant – 37.5 hours per week, £15,076.62 p.a. plus staff benefits

The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.

We are looking for a Digital Communications Assistant to assist the Communications team through the creation, fronting and posting of content for our website and social media channels to promote The Lowry’s artistic, commercial, learning and engagement strands.

The role will require you to support The Lowry’s social media strategy in consultation with the Digital Manager and Head of Communications. You will research and monitor local and industry media to identify opportunities for The Lowry to engage with our neighbours and peers.

Strong organisational skills and knowledge of new developments in social media is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience of administration duties with a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Experience of using simple website content management systems and social media tools, for example TweetDeck is desirable.
