We are seeking a new Development Manager to join the Development team at HOME, Manchester’s vibrant cross art form centre. HOME commissions, creates and presents contemporary theatre, visual art and film and provides a space for experimentation where art-forms meet and interconnect. HOME’s programming is political, international and experimental.
The Development Team raises over £750,000 in fundraised income annually from grant making bodies, businesses and individuals to support the work of the organisation. As well as raising vital unrestricted income, the Development Team also raise funds for a diverse range of exciting projects, including our artist development programme; ¡Viva! Spanish and Latin American Festival; and HOME Inspires, our community and outreach programme. HOME is currently in the planning stage of a second capital campaign, which the Development Team will be integral to delivering.
The Development Manager would have responsibility for assisting the department to achieve income against targets by raising revenue from individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations. You would take the lead on building a pipeline of potential supporters, create high impact proposals, deliver pitches face to face with donors and build long-term meaningful relationships with supporters, funders and sponsors. You would also play a key role in the development of strategy and stewardship of major individual donors.
We are looking for a talented individual with excellent relationship building skills and a passion for fundraising to enhance and maximise the fundraising potential at HOME. This is a unique role for a motivated, proactive and imaginative fundraiser to make real impact, and drive growth in a friendly and ambitious team which is already very successful.
