This is your chance to play a key part in raising funds to support the objectives of one of the most popular galleries of modern and contemporary art outside of London. You’ll gain valuable experience in a vibrant environment as you provide efficient and effective administrative and finance support to Tate Liverpool’s Development department.
This is a rewarding, interesting and varied role in a busy office. You will have excellent numeracy and administration skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be responsible for ensuring that our supporters’ records are updated and accurate, and also undertake research into potential supporters, working closely with your Development colleagues, to assist them in cultivating new relationships and managing existing supporters. Experience of working with financial and numerical data is essential, as your role will include maintaining and updating the department’s financial records.
Your proficiency in IT, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, will stand you in good stead for learning Tate’s IT systems and relationship management database (Raisers Edge). You will have proven experience of working in a busy office, an excellent telephone manner and good written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Above all, you’ll need to be an organised team player, able to balance competing demands and work collaboratively with a broad range of people.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2017.
