Dance Development Officer – Cultural Education, Ludus Dance

We are searching for an accomplished dance professional with at least two years experience to deliver high quality dance projects and initiatives to children and young people.

Ludus Dance is the dance development organisation in Lancashire. We prioritise people and places with least engagement and offer an inclusive approach, placing excellence in dance, engagement and learning at the heart of our work.

Forming part of a small but dynamic team, the Dance Development Officers (DDO) will work closely with our Artistic Directors and CEO to shape, develop and maintain our programmes of activity. Each role will focus on different elements:

You will be delivering our schools offer, running our Arts Award scheme and supporting education settings to achieve Arts Mark status.

Our successful DDO will have the skills to engage meaningfully with a diverse range of people from all sections of the community, connecting with people new to dance as well as experienced professionals.

Salary: up to 21k pro rata (depending on level of experience), 15 hours per week
