This is an exciting opportunity for a talented arts professional with an interest in community-driven arts practices to join our small team as we go through a period of re-visioning. The successful candidate will play a key role in devising, coordinating and delivering projects as part of the organisation’s wider engagement programme, alongside supporting the delivery of our core programme where required. The individual will take ownership of a portion of our engagement programme, ensuring that work delivered is of a high artistic quality whilst being relevant and of maximum benefit to the community.

Wigan STEAM is a creative organisation that aims to nurture creativity in people of all ages and backgrounds through exhibitions, workshops, creative projects, and a community makerspace. We provide high quality cultural experiences, creative learning opportunities and enriching social spaces to enable people to develop the skills that they need in order to lead rich, fulfilling and empowered lives.
We are currently going through a period of re-visioning in order to ensure our work is of maximum benefit to our stakeholders. This contract will span the length of this process.
