Community and Creative Engagement Officer, Macclesfield Museums

15 hours per week, fixed point salary £16,045 pro-rata

This new post of Community and Creative Engagement Officer will support the development of relationships with the community, local groups and artists. The post holder will take day-to-day responsibility for marketing and publicity, including the website and social media, as well as taking the lead in developing relationships to maximise creative engagement with the Museums.

Macclesfield Museums is a registered charity and manages four sites; The Old Sunday School, The Silk Museum, Paradise Mill and West Park Museum. Its collections include local and social history, particularly Macclesfield’s silk making heritage, working looms, textiles, art and Egyptology. The post holder will help build the Trust’s case for support, along with sharing and delivering its vision.
