Relationship Manager, Diversity (North – Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Leeds or Manchester)
Salary: £31,975.00 per annum, plus excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent working 35 hours per week
We are on a mission to make sure that the arts and cultural activities we fund reflect the diversity of where we live today.

You will be passionate and knowledgeable about diversity in the arts and cultural sector and will have experience of working with artists and creatives from a diverse range of backgrounds. You will excel at building relationships, be good at influencing people at all levels, and will be able make a strong case for diversity across the whole cultural sector.
You will work with and support a portfolio of funded organizations. This will include enduring that diversity is embedded in all their plans, monitoring their performances against funding agreements, and keeping up to date with their artistic and cultural work. You will need an understanding of how arts and cultural organizations are run, including planning, financial reporting, performance management and governance, as well as understanding how plans to deliver our creative case for diversity work in organizations.
You will also give funding advice on Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants, and other funds, and support individuals and organizations to develop their applications, to improve the diversity of the projects we fund. Internally, you will work with and support a wide range of colleagues, sharing your knowledge and expertise of diverse practice. This role will work across the whole of the north of England and the post could be based in any of our north offices in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Leeds or Manchester.
