Arena Studios is looking for a person with excellent organisational and communication skills to act as Studio Coordinator, working self employed, on a freelance basis.
The applicant will be required to have knowledge of office administration procedures, with good IT skills, including the ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. It would be preferable for the applicant to have an artistic background, however this is not essential. As the position is freelance, the hours are changeable, however we estimate an average of 15 hours a month. Working arrangements are flexible and much of the work may be carried out at home.
Arena Studios offers affordable studio space for artists and creatives ranging from fine artists to illustrators and fashion designers. Led by a team of artists who volunteer their time, the studio has an ethos that promotes artistic excellence with a socially driven perspective. Arena draws upon the skills and talents of its members and encourages and supports new projects, commissions, educational teachings, workshops, exhibitions and other opportunities.
