We’re looking for an Archivist to join our team on a two-year fixed-term basis for an exciting new project. If you have experience in archive & project management we’d love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will undertake the Project Management of a two-year project. The aim of the project is to organise, catalogue, rehouse and make accessible the Edward Chambre Hardman Photographic Collection housed at Liverpool Records Office. In your role you will allow access to this exciting collection for researchers and members of the public. Â As a key leader in this project you will successfully manage and deliver a project management framework, you will coordinate regular updates to internal and external staff and funding bodies and will hold accountability for the management and spending of the project budget.
You will play a key role and work as part of wider team of National Trust staff and volunteers in the Liverpool Portfolio, including working alongside the National Photography Curator, the Senior House Steward, General Manager, Regional Conservator and Curator. You will be based at the Liverpool Records Office, giving you an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Liverpool Central Library team. Working as part of a dedicated team, in particular with the Digitisation Conservator, you will recruit, train and supervise on a day to day basis, a team of volunteers to support the delivery of the project.
