Contact has a long-standing commitment to diversity in its programming, producing, staffing and community engagement. We actively seek applications from the widest range of applicants.
Contact is a leading national contemporary theatre and arts organisation based in Manchester, with young people at the heart of everything we do. We work locally, nationally and internationally to provide life-changing opportunities for the next generation of creative leaders, artists and audiences, redefining theatre in the process. We produce and present a professional programme of outstanding performances, events and festivals in our building, surprising places and virtual spaces, for a young and highly diverse audience.
This is an exciting time for Contact, with plans for a £6.5m capital re-development under way which will secure the future of Contact’s vital work with young people across Greater Manchester for the next 20 years.
The Agency is a collaborative force; directed at engaging and empowering young people to plan, structure and deliver their own projects that will effect positive change to the communities around them. Participants with inventive ideas that will change where they live for the better are supported by successful figures in society and local people to realise their projects.
You will have strong organisational, communication and IT skills and a passion to continue our ground breaking work engaging young people from undeserved communities in Moston, Harpurhey, Manchester, Battersea, Clapham Junction and London. Please note a full driving licence is essential for this role.
Deadline for submission of applications: Friday 22nd September 2017 5pm.
Interviews will be held on: Monday 9th October 2017.
