LFC footballer, Jamie Carragher was at Chavasse Park today to help launch Talent Week and unveil the Talent Wall. There’s various activities going on in the Marquee there all this week. Something for the kids during the school half-term.
From 26th – 30th October, Liverpool ONE is hosting Talent Week – a showcase and celebration of young peoples’ talent and their aspirations for the future.
The initiative has been developed through a partnership of The Talent and Enterprise Taskforce, Business in the Community, Edge and the British Council of Shopping Centres and aims to demonstrate that everyone has talents. By recognising and thinking about how to make the most of their talents, there’s a much greater chance that young people will see them as building bricks to help them in the future. For more information about the initiative, visit www.talentweek.co.uk
Thousands of young people across Merseyside have created a Talent Brick. These bricks create Talent Walls which will be unveiled at the grand opening on Monday, 26th October.
Liverpool’s Lord Mayor will unveil a Talent Wall on Paradise Street at 10.30am followed by another wall reveal at 1.00pm at Chavasse Park by Jamie Carragher (Liverpool Football Club and Cafe Sports Express).
