Imagine Colwyn Bay Reminiscence Project
Artist callouts

We have identified that the number of people living with dementia in the Colwyn Bay area is almost double the Welsh average. Conwy Culture Centre has initiated a project to update museum and archive handling reminiscence collections, and 12 of these are available for individuals /groups to loan. These collections currently cover up to the 1950’s. People living with dementia + those working alongside them have highlighted that much provision is geared towards the older generation aged 75+, so there is a need for collections to meet the needs of younger people. The appointed artists will work within a small team to coproduce collections themed for the 60s, 70s and 80s.
