Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.
Crisis operates a furniture business in which we create and upcycle furniture with the help of volunteers. The furniture gets sold through our network of charity shops and helps fund our year-round services.
About the role
As Workshop Supervisor, you will become an integral part of the team. Your skills and experience will be crucial in managing the day-to-day operations of the furniture. You will lead the restoration and assembly of the furniture while supervising volunteers and members. We will also look to you for ideas on how to develop the business even further.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will have experience assembling and restoring furniture to high sellable standards. You will be able to manage a production workshop very effectively including leading a team of volunteers. You will also have a genuine enthusiasm for our mission to end homelessness and how this furniture business contributes to it.
