CLES is the UK’s leading, independent think and do tank realising progressive economics for people and place. Our aim is to achieve social justice, good local economies and effective public services for everyone, everywhere.

We want to develop two projects that better communicate what we do.

Project 1 – About community wealth building [working title]

There are two elements to this project:

  • A short video that will sit on our website and be shared on our social media channels and in event presentations. This video is aimed at an audience that already know about what we do but need a deeper understanding of one of our flagship areas of research, practice and policy making – community wealth building.
  • A short publication that will accompany the video (although it will have a different audience). We will write this publication (although it will be based on the script, we develop with you for the video) but would like it to emulate the look and feel of the video and therefore this project also includes elements of graphic design, which will include the production of infographics, diagrams and the sourcing of compelling imagery. The audience for this element sits roughly in between the audience for the video in project 1 and the video in project 2. They know about CLES, and have heard of community wealth building. They want to take action at a community or grassroots level but are not sure where to start and need examples of real life work.

Project 2 – About CLES [working title]

A short video that will sit on our website and be shared on our social media channels and in event presentations. This video is aimed at the relatively informed general public and gives a brief overview of why what we do is important, our method of working and the (headline) specifics of how we do that.

The total cost for both projects is a maximum of £6,500. For a full brief and application details please contact helenpower@cles.org.uk.
