Finance Manager/ Financial Controller, The Reader

Based at: The Reader, Mansion House, Calderstones Park, Liverpool, L18 3JB

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director (alongside the Deputy Head of Support Services)

Salary: £25k – £35k

Hours: 35 hours per week (part time would be considered and flexible working patterns are available)

Duration: Permanent contract

Location: Liverpool

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Manager to join our team.  We are looking for a special person who wants to put their financial expertise to use in an organisation that works hard to make a difference to people’s lives.

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded individual with a flair for co-ordination, management and maintaining standards. You will have held a similar role in the commercial, social enterprise or charitable sector or be able to demonstrate how previous experience translates to this new role.

You will need to be flexible and willing to work as a whole team to solve the problems we encounter as we grow.  You may not have experience of all the elements of this role, but you’ll be able to demonstrate your adaptability and willingness to learn.  You will value the opportunity to make the role your own and to bring your own leadership to this energetic and challenging area of work.
