Adam Brown is an artist who is best known for his alchemical achievements: In The Great Work of the Metal Lover he harnessed bacteria to turn soluble gold chloride – naturally occurring in seawater – into 24-carat gold. His research looks into the origins of life and he will be talking through this in dialogue with philosopher Monika Bakke (author of Air is Information and The Life of Air.)
