SUMMARY:50MV: You Shed Your Names With The Seasons
DESCRIPTION:You Shed Your Names With The Seasons\n\nPREVIEW: 15th May 5-8pm
 \n\n16-22nd May (open by appointment)\n\n50MV\n\n50 Mersey View\n\nL22 6QB
\n\n50mvinfo@gmail.com\n\nTaking its title from the 1969 song Duchess by S
cott Walker\, this exhibition presents five distinctive approaches to dra
wing focused on depictions of the face and figure. The exhibition presents
a series of drawings that explore faces in transition\, capturing identit
ies that are not fixed. Developed from diverse processes\, including grids
as a way of transcribing information\, working from life or\n\nadapting f
ound imagery. Surfaces are built from marks that accumulate and dissolve\,
suggesting faces in a state of flux or multiple possibilities rather tha
 n a single\, stable likeness.
