 lash fiction and observations of urban life accompanied by drawings from B
 ryan Biggs.\n\n“A fractured narrative of grey twilight where half-glimps
 ed figures flicker through a deserted city-scape. Connection is everything
 \, but nobody connects.”\n\nDave Ward's poems have been published widely
  in magazines and anthologies and broadcast on television and radio. He wa
 s a visiting writer in residence at Nanyang University\, Singapore and has
  toured to Hong Kong and northern China. Previous collections include Jam
 bo (Paul Weller's Riot Stories Ltd.)\, On The Edge of Rain(Headland) and
 \, writing as David Greygoose\, Brunt Boggart (Pushkin Press).\n\nBryan 
 Biggs' drawings have been shown in several exhibitions including the Jerwo
 od Drawing Prize\, and in publications such as Smoke\, The Drawing Paper
  and Responses: Intercultural Drawing Practice (Liverpool School of Art
  and Design). His work include in Inside Pale Eyes are drawn quickly in i
 nk and spit\, they are an intuitive and spontaneous response to our presen
 t political and psychological malaise. They take their cue from earlier ar
 t - the enigmatic compositions and moral outrage expressed in the prints o
 f Goya and William Blake - but draw on the relentless information\, imager
