DESCRIPTION:Free family drop in sessions at the Williamson Art Gallery with
  Pamela\, artist in residence\, 11.00 - 15.20\, supported by Art Council E
 ngland.\nThey are free and no need to book but donations welcomed.\nDress 
 to get messy.\n\nOn Saturday 12 March 2016\, the session will be inspired 
 by our exhibition “A room with a view” followed by a workshop for East
 er on Saturday 26 March.\n\nOn Saturdays 16 and 30 April\, we will be look
 ing to gardens for inspiration and the delights of Spring as the outside s
 pace at the heart of the gallery gets developed to create a garden at the 
 Williamson\, we will be painting mini gardens in the art room.\n\nWe have 
 a new under-five sessions on Thursday mornings with artist\, Nicola McGove
 rn at 11.30 until  Thursday 31 March through the Paul Hamlyn Foundation a
 nd the Friends of the Williamson in our specially designed area for little
  ones in our cafe.\nBook your place by calling 0151 652 4177. The group la
 sts for an hour and please stay in our café for lunch - great place for a
  meal with little ones with high chairs and child friendly food options at
  a good price.\n\nOur new Arts Award has been launched young people aged 5
  -25 through schools and colleges. All the information is on the website w
 ww.williamsonartgallery.org under Learning. There are also details for sch
 ools and college planning visits to the gallery and museum.\n\nALSO: At ou
 r other site\, The Birkenhead Priory\, despite being the oldest building i
 n MERSEYSIDE\, there have been lots of changes there with new interpretati
 on boards\, dress up clothes and new lighting in the under-croft which use
 d to be rather spooky. There is lots of information on visiting the priory
  with your family or with schools at www.thebirkenheadpriory.org proving i
 t is “a small place with a big history”.
