SUMMARY:Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: Warrington Museum: Interpret
DESCRIPTION:Interpret\n\nDate(s)/Time: Saturday 8 Apr 2017 - Saturday 17 Ju
 n 2017\, All Day\n\nTicket Price: Free\n\nLocation: Warrington Museum &amp
\; Art Gallery\n\nInterpret is a showcase of work by young contemporary ar
tists who are completing a range of art and design courses at Warrington C
ollegiate.  Responding to the theme of Warrington\, the students’ creat
ions reflect their perspective on the town’s changing identity.\n\nThe a
rt on show illustrates the individuality of the students and the diversity
of talent\, from those at the beginning of their creative journeys to tho
se who are soon to progress to higher education.\n\nSome of the young arti
sts used Warrington Museum &amp\; Art Gallery’s collection as a starting
point to generate ideas\, whether a texture or surface decoration\, or an
object or item that evokes a certain feeling or idea.  This primary rese
arch was then used as a stimulus to respond to Warrington as a town and it
s creative heritage\, and to map out its identity through fresh eyes.
