SUMMARY:Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: P
 amela Schilderman: Artist’s Talk
DESCRIPTION:Pamela Schilderman: Artist’s Talk\n\nBOOK FREE TICKETS HERE\n
Join artist Pamela Schilderman as she talks about the process behind her h
ybrid museum intervention\, EcologyNOW.\n\nSchilderman’s practice is str
ongly influenced by science and explores notions of identity and individua
lity through repetition\, often juxtaposing microcosm and macrocosm as tho
ugh adjusting the lens of a microscope.\n\nShe seeks to challenge people
’s preconceptions and definitions of painting and drawing through multip
le approaches – the use of unconventional materials\, liberating them fr
om the two-dimensional sheet into the three-dimensional sphere\, and creat
ing the illusion of the work being alive.
