 : Year 2 Extended Diploma.\n\nStudents from Priestley College were invited
  to respond to the theme of diversity. In the wake of divisive political m
 oments that have left us with a sense of heightened polarization\, we aske
 d the group to think about disrupting the narrative\, exploring through re
 presentation and the breaking of stereotypes\, the ways in which accepting
  diversity can lead to greater social cohesion. Through a series of worksh
 ops responding to processes and techniques used by a range of artists like
  Jadé Fadojutimi and Cecily Brown the students were introduced to abstrac
 tion and ran with it\, to produce a collection of paintings all unique and
  original in just 6 weeks.
