SUMMARY:Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: A
 lice Cornelia: Back Now
DESCRIPTION:ALICE CORNELIA: BACK NOW\n\n\n\nA new solo exhibition by Alice
Cornelia\, following her highly commended award in the 2018 Warrington Con
temporary Open exhibition.\n\nBack Now explores mediums of social represe
ntation with the aim of exposing gaps in our visual information. The body
of work questions boundaries between documentary and fiction\, with a play
ful relationship between representation and abstraction and between moving
image and the still image. The work invites a discussion into the process
of representation through collective memory and material reality.\n\nImag
 e: Alice Cornelia\, untitled (detail)\, Super 8 converted to digital\n\n\n
