 019 – 26 August 2019\n\nThis exhibition will span the lifetime of Charle
 s Rennie Mackintosh (1868–1928) and his contemporaries\, exploring the m
 ovement that became known as The Glasgow Style.\n\nThe Glasgow Style refer
 s to the design and decorative arts centred around the work by teachers\, 
 students and graduates of the Glasgow School of Art produced between about
  1890 and 1920.\n\nGlasgow was the birthplace of the only Art Nouveau ‘m
 ovement’ in the UK and its style made ripples internationally. The exhib
 ition will present objects from Glasgow Museums and the Mitchell Library a
 nd Archives as well as loans from private and public collections. About 25
 0 objects will be on display across the full spectrum of media\, including
  stained glass\, ceramics\, mosaic\, metalwork\, furniture\, stencilling\,
  embroidery\, graphics\, books\, interiors and architecture.\n\nTickets\n\
