SUMMARY:: Various Venues: Wirral Open Studios Tour 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Wirral Open Studio Tour is an annual event taking place i
n June each year\, in which local artists invite the public to visit their
studios\, workshops and display spaces. It is an excellent opportunity to
talk first-hand to the artists and to view their work in the environment
in which it was created\, or to just enjoy exploring the various venues at
tempting to answer that eternal question ‘What do artists do all day?
’\nThe tour was initially set up in 2009 in the Hoylake/Meols area by Ca
nadian artist Micheline Robinson as ‘Artists in Our Midst’ and quickly
evolved into a Wirral-wide event. It continues to grow year on year\, wit
h over 80 artists participating in 2023.\n\nOur artists work in a variety
 of disciplines including painting\, photography\, printmaking\, sculpture\
 , ceramics\, glass\, textiles and jewellery\; so whatever you’re interes
ted in there will be something for you.\nJoin our mailing list now to be k
ept up to date with the Wirral Open Studio Tour and other carefully select
ed local arts events.\n\nJoin our mailing list
