SUMMARY:Unity Theatre: Unity Theatre: The Children of Captain Von Trapp Wis

DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE CHILDREN OF CAPTAIN VON TRAPP WISH TO SAY GOODN
 IGHT\nby Casino Improv\n\n\n\n\n Liverpool Improvisation Festival 2024\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday 19th April\n\n3.00pm\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis performa
nce is part of the Liverpool Improvisation Festival 2024\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
We are so excited to return to the second Liverpool Improv Festival. Br
inging our new show The Children of Captain Von Trapp Wish To Say Goodnigh
t (affectionately known as TCOCVTWTSG). In a departure from our long form
narrative work\, we are extracting the desperate joy of online improv and
throwing it on stage. We’ll be chatting\, playing and following whatever
stories and games unfold.\n\nYou may have attended a party which was inte
rrupted by the host’s kids showing off before their bedtime.\n\nA warbli
ng recital of the original pokérap?\n\nAn impromptu karate demonstration?
\n\nA minute and a half of slowly ascending the stairs while singing “so
  long\, farewell”?\n\nIn TCOCVTWTSG\, Casino improv will embrace their i
nner Von Trapp in a show born of friendship. Casino Improv spent months sc
attered geographically (With one of our members literally antipodal to the
rest of us). Eventually\, they came together online to check in\, play an
d invent games and\, if there was time\, do some improv. These meetings sl
owly turned into a show for an online audience called TCOCVTWTSG. Lounge a
bout with us as we chat\, play and bound in and out of scenes like childre
n who just want to stay at the party.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPerformed by: Ian Hay
les\, Jacob Butler\, Alexi Papadopoulos\, Peter Kennedy and Jess O’Neill
