SUMMARY:Unity Theatre: Unity Theatre: LAAF: Self-Entitlement
DESCRIPTION:\nSelf-Entitlement\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWednesday 12 July\, 7:30 pm - 9
 :00 pm\n\nUnity Theatre\n£10/8 Book Tickets\n\nSelf-Entitlement is an
autobiographical solo performance by Egyptian dancer Mahmoud El Haddad. \
 n\n\n\n\nFusing Egyptian cabaret\, dance and monologue\, Self-Entitlement
presents the narrative of an immigrant artist attempting to transition f
rom a society that he never felt integrated in\, to another that expects h
im to conform to pre-judgements based on his status.\n\n\n\nInspired by th
e artist’s own experiences moving from Egypt to France\, the work expl
ores the complexity of identity transitioning between different cultures\,
and the problems of categorising people using often prejudiced labels.\n
\n\n\nBoth challenging and comedic\, this intimate performance is a UK pr
emiere.\n\nAge rating: +16\n\nThis performance contains adult language and
  themes\, and flashing images.\n\n\n\n\n\nBiography \n\n\n\nMahmoud El Ha
