DESCRIPTION:S'cube Contemporary Art presents:\n\nOn Sunday 21st April from

ter living today? Come paint from your own personal world and create your
own unique masterpiece.\n\nWe will start with a Powerpoint presentation on
Contemporary painting and look at some of the important artists working i
n the late 19th century and early 20th century that had a major influence
on how we see things as artists today.\nThen after some tea and cake we wi
ll move into the studio and begin our Contemporary painting experience. Le
arn how using your own personal experiences\, feelings\, emotions\, politi
cs\, interests etc can be the starting point of a journey on canvas. Exper
imenting with oil paint and using a variety of tools\, the work can develo

ur imagination where anything can happen.\n\nA unique experience resulting
in a unique painting.\n\nEven if you have never picked up a brush in your
  life\, it'll be fun.\n\nAll materials are provided\, so you don't need to
go to the art shop and spend a fortune.\n\nRichard Meaghan is a contempor
ary painter who has exhibited nationally and internationally. He has won p
rizes for his work and his paintings are in many public and private collec
tions.\n\nRichard is also classically trained in the techniques and proces
