DESCRIPTION:\n\nWhat is it like to be a contemporary painter living today? 
 Come paint from your own personal world and create your own unique masterp

 iemeags@gmail.com\n\nOn Sunday 18th February from 12-4pm I will be opening
  my studio to guests to come and learn about contemporary painting.\nWe wi
 ll start with a Powerpoint presentation on Contemporary painting and look 
 at some of the important artists working in the late 19th century and earl
 y 20th century that had a major influence on how we see things as artists 
 today.\nThen after some tea and cake we will move into the studio and begi
 n our Contemporary painting experience. Learn how using your own personal 
 experiences\, feelings\, emotions\, politics\, interests etc can be the st
 arting point of a journey on canvas. Experimenting with oil paint and usin
 g a variety of tools\, the work can develop into a painting that has layer
 s and veils\; a painting that is inside your imagination where anything ca
 n happen.\n\nA unique experience resulting in a unique painting.\n\nAll ma
 terials are provided\, so you don't need to go to the art shop and spend a

 xhibited nationally and internationally. He has won prizes for his work an
 d his paintings are in many public and private collections.\n\nRichard is 
 also classically trained in the techniques and processes of Old Master pai
 nters.\n\nOn arriving at the factory you will see a sign 'McVities' please
  head to the security barrier there and wait to be let through\, park up a
 nd head back to security where the guard will let me know that you have ar
 rived...\n\nPlease arrive at least 15 mins before scheduled start.\n\nBrin
 g a packed lunch if needed as it's a long day. Tea\, coffee\, water\, bisc
 uits and other nibbles will be provided.\n\n* Important note. Refunds will
