SUMMARY:The Tung Auditorium: The Tung Auditorium: Indika: The Moore\, Modar
 elli & Rayatt Trio
DESCRIPTION:The Moore\, Modarelli\, Rayatt Trio has crafted a breathtaking
sound that flawlessly blends jazz with the rich and vibrant tones of India
n music. Interestingly\, the trio was born out of the Covid lockdown\, whe
n they were tasked with recording electrifying live-streamed performances
which left audiences completely awe-struck.\n\nTheir repertoire consists p
rimarily of original compositions that fuse together the soulful rhythms o
f Indian music with the improvisational spirit of jazz\, infusing hints of
other world music to create a sound that is entirely their own.\n\nThe ma
sterminds behind this ground-breaking collaboration\, Olivia and Giuliano\
, first met at Leeds College of Music\, where they were introduced to the
enchanting melodies of Indian music. Today\, they are both highly acclaime
d performers both nationally and internationally\, with Giuliano even head
ing up the award-winning fusion group\, Kefaya.\n\nThe Trio also features
the incredible Gurdain Rayatt\, a prominent figure on the UK Indian music
scene and hailing from a family of renowned classical Hindustani musicians
. He has performed alongside the likes of Kala Ramnath and Soumik Datta on
stages all over the world\, having studied in India alongside his talente
d bandmates.\n\nIf you’re a fan of jazz or Indian music\, or simply appr
eciate creative and innovative musical styles\, then the Moore\, Modarelli
\, Rayatt Trio is definitely a group you won’t want to miss!\n\nPart of
