SUMMARY:Royal Liver Building: The Royal Liver Building: Transitions
DESCRIPTION:Artist Steve Randall is about to unveil his largest solo exhibi
tion and it will be the first ever audio visual event to be held at The Ro
yal Liver Building. The large collection of paintings includes 35 works wh
ich have never seen before and they will be accompanied by a purpose writt
 en soundtrack\, composed by Scottish musician Kenny MacLennan\, aka W E S
T H E A R T.\n\nSteve turned to art later in life after his wife was diagn
osed with an incurable brain tumour and since then through his arts initia
tive he has raised more than 43K for various charities across the Liverpoo
l City Region. After first becoming known for nostalgic scenes depicting h
is home town of Kirkby\, Steve credits his wife for his transition in piec
es inspired by the nature of the Scottish highlands. The music created by\
 n\nW E S T H E A R T is influenced by the same scenery\, so a collaboratio
n between the two artists felt like a natural progression. The artworks ha
ve also been transformed in to a video by DP Digital Media\, and you will
be able to see that in full at the exhibition. The soundtrack will be play
ed on speakers throughout the event but those wanting a more personal expe
rience are invited to bring their own headphones\, so they can listen to t
he music via their phone.\n\nEntry to the fully accessible event is free a
nd it will be open to the public daily from 10am to 4pm.\n\nFurther detail
