DESCRIPTION:This tactile 10 week course will cover a broad range of textile
  and craft based skills which can be used for a range of exciting projects
 \n\nBOOK HERE\n\nSuitable for complete beginners who are new to textile ar
 ts as well as those looking to experiment with more advanced projects.\n\n

  a creative and experimental course in which students will produce a range
  of samples and some finished items. The course is aimed at a complete beg
 inner however would be suited to somebody with some experience looking to 
 brush up on skills in a friendly group environment. Catherine provides ple
 nty of inspiration\, physical examples along with web references and books
  to encourage students to broaden their textile knowledge.\n\n• Wet felt
 -making - 2D felting with Japanese Nuno felting\, 3D felting (bowls\, purs
 es\, bird nests)\n\n• Dry/ Needle felting\n\n• Hand painting onto fabr
 ic\n\n• Batik\n\n• Quilting\n\n• Shibori\n\n• Lino print onto fabr
 ic\n\n• Hand stitch techniques\n\nTutor: Catherine Carmyllie is a Liverp
 ool based Artist currently working across painting and textile art. She co
 mpleted a Textile Arts degree at Huddersfield University before spending 6
  months at The Arts and Crafts Academy of Kuopio\, Finland where she had t
 he opportunity to learn ancient Scandinavian skills such as bookbinding\, 
 weaving\, felt-making amongst others. Catherine regularly teaches creative

  so early booking is essential.\n\nWe have introduced a range of safety me

 t. This is because our courses have very small student numbers\, and often
  sell-out and are unavailable to others. Therefore any cancellations may r

 Cancellations are permitted up to 30 days before the start of a course\, a
 nd a full refund will be issued. Refunds will not be made for cancellation
 s less than 30 days before the start of a course. If you are unable to att
 end due to illness\, personal or professional commitments you do not have 
 the right to a refund.\n\nIf you wish to cancel your place on a course tha
 t has not yet started and you have a friend or colleague who can take your
