 istic talent in Sefton\nThe Sefton Open is an annual exhibition celebratin
 g the creativity and artistic talent across the borough. \n\nThe exhibiti
 on features artworks from individual artists and local groups\, including 
 painting\, print\, ceramics\, photography and textiles.\n\nThe Atkinson’
 s longstanding partner\, Southport Palette Club\, select the work from in
 dividual artists for the Sefton Open. The club was formed in 1921 to champ
 ion the work of local artists and this will be their their 97th annual exh
 ibition.\n\nVisitors to the exhibition are encouraged to vote for their fa
 vourite artwork on display. The artwork with the most votes will be awarde
 d The People’s Prize.\n\nVisitors can also support local artists by inve
 sting in their work\, most artworks are available to purchase through The 
 Atkinson and the Own Art Scheme.\n\n\n\nGet involved\nArtwork hand in day:

 rtworks for consideration by the Southport Palette Club. No more than 4 wo
 rks can be displayed by any individual artist in the Sefton Open: this inc
 ludes works with the Southport Palette Club and works displayed through gr
 oups and societies. Individual artists are responsible for selecting origi
 nal artwork for inclusion\, which has not previously been exhibited at The
  Atkinson. To submit work you must be over 18 and either live\, work or ha
