Or any form of artwork you can come up with. However\, we do ask that colouring in outlin es printed or drawn by someone else is not submitted. Adults may give enco uragement but must not have a hands-on role in creating the artwork.\n\nTh e Atkinson may reject entries that it considers are inappropriate for any reason. Only original works will be accepted or copies that are clearly re ferenced either in the image or through the title\, e.g. People Inspired b y L.S. Lowry.\n\nAll entries will be exhibited on The Atkinson’s website from Saturday 1 June 2024.\n\nThe artworks will be reviewed by a panel ap pointed by The Atkinson. All works are judged on individual merit and the judges’ decision is final. No correspondence or discussion will be enter ed into. Winners will be announced online on Wednesday 19 June 2024.\n\nWi nners will receive arts vouchers to be redeemed online and are invited to display their work in The Atkinson Foyer from Saturday 27 July 2024. Arran gements will be made to deliver artworks between Monday 22 &\; Wednesda y 24 July. The prizes\, donated by The Arts Society Southport\, will be aw arded at a Prizegiving Event at The Atkinson on Saturday 27 July 2024.\n\n \n\nHelpful tips for photographing your artwork\n\n1. Remove the artwork f rom a frame if glazed – glass will create reflections in the artwork.\n2 . Place your artwork on a neutral background – busy wallpaper and clutte red rooms to be avoided.\n3. Place your artwork in an area with natural li ghting – near a window or outside on an overcast day.\n4.
