 ps://www.theatkinson.co.uk/exhibition/brick-wonders/\nBrick Wonders transp
orts you around the world to ancient\, modern &amp\; natural wonders\, rec
reated from half a million LEGO® bricks by Warren Elsmore and his team. F
rom the building of the pyramids to the invention of the internet\, journe
y around the globe and be inspired to discover and create your own wonders
at home.\nBeginning with the seven wonders of the ancient world\, the exh
ibition takes in historic\, modern and natural wonders from all seven cont
inents. From the great pyramid of Giza to the natural pyramid of the Matte
rhorn\, the bustle of Old London Bridge to the awesome natural display of
the Aurora Australis\, and those everyday marvels we forget to wonder at\,
such as electricity and the internet.\nEach wonder is built using only st
andard LEGO bricks and a good amount of imagination! The models vary in sc
ale and visitors can find out how many bricks were used to recreate each w
onder\, as well as how many hours it took to complete. For example\, the l
arge installation of the Great Barrier Reef is built using 200\,000 LEGO b
ricks and took 55 days to complete and the Trojan Horse is recreated using
60 bricks and took 90 minutes to complete.\nThe Brick Wonders exhibition
also features a series of LEGO stop motion animations from Morgan Spence.
