 ble Award will be hosted by Tate Liverpool in 2015.\n\nVisible is the firs
 t European award for socially engaged artistic practice\, celebrating art 
 projects that work with people in the social sphere across the world.\n\nT
 he Award\, of 25\,000 € is made biannually and was first given in 2011.\
 n\nIn 2015 it will be decided through an open jury consultation in the for
 m of a temporary parliament at Liverpool Town Hall on Saturday 31 October 
 2015.\n\nFrom Monday 26 October\, for the week leading up to the public ju
 ry session\, Tate Liverpool will host a free display of the nine shortlist
 ed projects\, each represented by a video in the foyer.\n\nThe shortlisted
  projects are:\nAbounaddara by Abounaddara Collective (Syria)\, Conflict K
 itchen by Dawn Weleski and Jon Rubin (USA)\, Cinema Everywhere by Waguih E
 l laqany (Egypt)\, Ecoart Uganda by Ruganzu Bruno Tusingwire (Uganda)\, Mo
 vimento Editorial by Cráter Invertido (Mexico)\, New World Summit by Jona
 s Staal (The Netherlands)\, Salt by Karrabing Film Collective (Australia)\
 , Mujawara / The Tree School by Campus in Camps and Contrafilé (Palestine
 -Brasil)\, White Paper: The Law / Convention On the Use of Space by Adelit
 a Husni Bey (The Netherlands).\n\nThe 2015 Visible Award has been develope
 d in collaboration with Chris Dercon\, Director\, Tate Modern\, and will b
 e chaired by Francesco Manacorda\, Artistic Director\, Tate Liverpool\, wh
 o will coordinate the debate\, together with the advocate Dr Andrea Philip
 ps\, between a group of experts operating in different fields of culture\,
  brought together to assess the merits of the artistic projects and lead t
 he selection of the winner.\n\nThe proceedings in the Town Hall Chamber wi
 ll be live streamed to the Wolfson Gallery at Tate Liverpool on Saturday 3
