SUMMARY:Tate Liverpool: Tate Liverpool: Made from Light: The Art and Scienc
 e of Renewable Energy
DESCRIPTION:MADE FROM LIGHT\nTHE ART AND SCIENCE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY\n11–
17 JUNE 2018 AT 10.00–18.00\n\n\nJoin us in Tate Exchange to find out mo
re about the art and science of sustainable energy production.\n\n\n\n\nRe
newable energy is considered to be a recent technological development\, bu
t in fact it has a long history. For centuries the possibility of harnessi
ng the power of the sun has inspired scientists\, engineers\, writers and
artists alike. The future of energy production and our environment will no
t only be shaped by science and technology: the arts also have a role to p
lay in influencing our behaviour and imagination. Tate Exchange invites yo
u to be part of that creative conversation.\n\nDrop in to the Tate Exchang
e to take part in a series of creative workshops and talks. Researchers fr
om the University of Liverpool will be there to lead explorations on art\,
science and the history of renewable energy. Tell us your thoughts by com
posing a poem or writing a story\, or record and add your voice to an evol
ving energy soundscape that will be performed over the weekend\n\n
