  Keith Haring Foundation. She was the artist's studio manager and confida
 nt from 1984 until the end of his life\, accompanying Haring as he transfo
 rmed from counterculture figure to global 1980s art star. Haring appointe
 d Gruen the director of his foundation in 1989\, a position she holds to t
 his day. She will be in conversation with renowned broadcaster and journa
