DESCRIPTION:Tate Collective take over Tate Liverpool\n\nVisitors are invite
 d to join a day of free activities and events at Tate Liverpool featuring 
 art\, music\, film and an exciting green screen. Taking place on Saturday
  17 March 2018 from 10.00 until 17.00\, this exciting activity-filled day
  will be led by Tate Collective Liverpool\, a youth art initiative by and 
 for young people aged 15–25 years old\, who meet regularly at the galler
 y.\n\nVisitors can drop-into a Zine Making Workshop and enjoy making pages
  for their own zine. Taking place from 10.00 until 12.00 and 13.00 until 1
 5.00 in the group reception room on the ground floor\, visitors can collag
 e text and images to create magazine pages inspired by the artworks on dis
 play in the gallery.\n\nOver in the Clore Learning space on the first floo
 r\, there will be a hands-on workshop where participants can have fun maki
 ng face and body adornments that will create unusual compositions on a gre
 en screen\, from 11.00 until 13.00 and 14.00 until16.00.\n\nVisitors can a
 lso see a film about non-conforming made by Tate Collective Liverpool. The
  film will explore what would happen if people decided to no longer confor
 m to society and will be shown throughout the day in the basement.\n\nTate
  Collective Liverpool members have created a soundtrack for visitors to li
 sten to as they explore the gallery and is inspired by the artworks on dis
 play in ARTIST ROOMS: Roy Lichtenstein in Focus\, John Piper and Surre
 alism in Egypt: Art et Liberté 1938–1948.\n\nTate Collective members wi
 ll be on hand in the foyer greeting visitors and there will be a special t
 icket offer running for 15–25 year olds who can see John Piper and Su
 rrealism in Egypt: Art et Liberté 1938–1948 for £5 during the penulti
 mate day before they close on 18 March.
